FOR PRACTITIONERS
1. Arrival
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before class so you have time to change and settle in calmly. Entry is managed by the instructor — there is no reception desk — so please arrange your arrival time with your instructor, and take it in consideration if you happen to be running late. You may join a class already in progress only at the instructor’s discretion, and without disturbing the other practitioners.
Please enter the studio without shoes (leave your shoes at the entrance). Practise in comfortable, clean sportswear.
2. Hygiene
Please wipe down shared equipment (mats) after use. Yoga mats are available on site, but if you prefer your own, feel free to bring it.
3. Quiet, phone use and valuables
The studio is a space of calm — please set your phone to silent or switch it off, and respect the other practitioners’ focus.
The studio take no responsibility for your valuables — please do not leave valuables unattended.
4. Health
Before practising, let the instructor know if you have any injury, complaint or medical condition (e.g. pregnancy). Always practise within your own limits — practice is undertaken at your own responsibility.
5. Booking / cancelling a class
Every instructor has their own booking and cancellation policy. Please ask the instructor.
FOR INSTRUCTORS (STUDIO RENTAL)
The details of booking and cancellation are set out in the Terms & Conditions.
These house rules set out the studio-rental policy of the White Lotus and Red Moon Yoga Studios, and are binding on every renter and participant. By renting a room, the renter automatically accepts the provisions of these house rules.
The rented room may be used exclusively for yoga classes, relaxation, meditation and similar quiet activities. Background music at a moderate volume is permitted.
The renter acknowledges that the yoga studio is located in a residential building, and therefore the rules on quiet must be observed. Loud activity, or loud music that disturbs the residents or a class taking place in a parallel room, is not permitted!
- Use and order of the premises: The renter and their guests are required to maintain quiet and order. Noisy activity that disturbs others is strictly prohibited! If the renter or their guests disturb a class running in parallel or the building’s residents, the Studio is entitled to terminate the rental right with immediate effect.
- Opening / closing the studio: entry is by code — there is no reception! It is the renter’s task and responsibility to receive their guests and to lock up the room at the end of the rental. The renter receives the instructions and codes needed for entry by email on the day before the booked time. The key/code may be used solely for the duration of one’s own classes and only for its intended purpose. The renter must keep it safe and may not pass it on to any third party — including guests.
- Time frames: The Lessor provides a total of 15 minutes’ changeover between bookings free of charge. The renter may enter the room no earlier than 10 minutes before the booked time. After the class ends, the room must be vacated within 5 minutes at the latest and handed over to the next renter. The shared areas (changing room, foyer) may also be used — within reasonable limits — both before and after the booking time.
Exceeding the time frame, transferring a booking: if the renter uses the room beyond the booked time, the additional use may be invoiced in 15-minute units! The Lessor is not liable if a delay prevents the next renter from starting on time.
If the renter is prevented from attending (e.g. illness, injury, travel), they may — with written notice to the Lessor — transfer the booked time to another renter, provided the event is similar in nature to the usual class and does not involve increased noise. - Keeping the space clean: On the Studios’ premises you may only be present without shoes or in indoor shoes. Street shoes must be left in the designated place, and used glasses and plates placed in the dishwasher. Pets may only be brought into the studio on a lead and without disturbing others. Letting them into the changing room or off the lead is strictly prohibited!
- The renter must return the room and equipment in their original condition. If the room has been rearranged, it must be returned to its original layout! In the event of damage, the renter must provide compensation. The renter must comply with fire-safety regulations. When leaving, please check: lights and air conditioning off, windows closed, and the studio locked.
